Granville Road, London, SW18

Approximately 613 sq ft, the apartment opens into a central entrance hall with a useful storage cupboard. At the rear, the light-filled open-plan kitchen and reception room is the heart of the home. The kitchen features sage green Shaker-style units with brushed brass handles, integrated appliances, marble-effect worksurfaces, a metro-tiled splashback and brass pendant lighting. The living area has plenty of space for comfortable seating and a dining table, and large sliding doors open onto the private balcony, which runs the full width of the apartment.

Both bedrooms sit at the front. The principal bedroom has a striking vaulted ceiling, a large bay window and built-in wardrobes, while the second bedroom would make an ideal guest room, nursery or home office.

The bathroom, at the rear of the apartment, is finished with elegant tiling, brushed brass fittings, a heated towel rail and a wood-effect vanity unit.

Throughout, there is pale wood-effect flooring, traditional column radiators and a calm, neutral palette.

Southfields station (District Line), the village’s shops and cafés, and Wimbledon Park are all a short walk away, as are several popular state and independent schools (subject to catchment and availability).
