Our marketing has become synonymous with quality, creativity and occasional humour. We aim to design something that is both stand-out and engaging while being informative – you might even want to pop it in a frame and hang it on the wall.
Each quarter we hand-deliver a maildrop to each of the 60,000 households we cover. We take pride in being invited into many of them and there’s some stunning architecture around the commons, with a range of styles from Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian to Arts & Crafts, Art Deco and new-build.
Iconic types of property define our patch - from Battersea to Balham, Clapham to Streatham, Wandsworth to Tooting, Southfields and Earlsfield. So our next creative campaign has this distinctive architecture in mind. A celebration of the buildings we walk through every day and understand in detail.
It’s a visual way of expressing something we believe deeply: our houses are very, very, very fine houses, a phrase inspired not only by the property stock we are fortunate to work alongside, but also by the lyrics of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s 1970s classic, Our House (no, not Madness’ version, but watch this space….)
As well as supporting the mail-drop with our own creative social media content featuring a series of postcards picturing some of the stand-out properties with everyday happenings unfolding in front of them, we’ve collaborated with Ali Thomas. A historian with a particular talent for digging out fascinating facts about pockets of London, @alithomasgb charts how Battersea, Clapham, Balham and beyond came to be, from the bogs near Hell Corner to the elegance of Georgian and Victorian splendour, all with the south-west architectural styles in mind. So, any lovers of history, property and gritty stories of times gone by in your own patch of London town, watch this space.
